What do you think of Noel Fielding from The Mighty Boosh? As many people love him as loathe him, but I think he’ll be behind the next fashion trend.
His style on the show is 80s popstar one minute and outlandish space cowboy the next, either way he’s unusual. And it’s this simultaneously ludicrous and amazing style that puts him at the top, (and bottom) of a lot of best dressed lists.
Away from The Mighty Boosh, Noel Fielding’s style is just as striking - he doesn’t wear silver cat suits and heeled boots like he does in the show, but it’s more androgynous Camden punk or new romantic with unusual additions like band t shirts and skinny jeans. The Camden look has a definite focus on band t shirts, and Fielding has been seen is t shirts from Gary Numan to Robots in Disguise (that’s the band fronted by his on/off girlfriend Dee Plume. Her style is just as bold but this is a men’s fashion blog so I won’t bore you with that.)
I’m not a massive fan of Noel Fielding but the way he creates his own style rather than following fashion trends puts him at the top of my fashion list. But don’t copy his fashion trends directly please – you know what I think of people who do that with Russell Brand!
