Skinny as pictured? That's just well-fitted in my opinion.

I believe the average man dresses in at least a size too large, causing excess fabric to dangle and actually loses the shape that suits are meant to create. Though the avant-garde skinny suits often belongs more on the runway, the importance of trimness should not be overlooked.

I have to disagree. I think on the right man, with the right confidence- they are far sexier than slouchy jackets and wide crotch trousers. Jude Law always pull off a great skinny suit.

Sarah, nice posting. I think that the skinny suits look great depending on the person wearing it. As an example, the model in your photo looks great. However, I think that the oversize suits (common with most men) is not the way to go. A good suit has to be perfectly fitted by a master taylor. For example, in the latest Bond movie, the suits that Bond's wear are amazing. His suits looks like a mix of a skinny suit and normal suit.
Finally, I think the skinny suits looks more modern. We haven't seen many changes in a men's suit in decades.
